The mission of FOLIO is to strengthen libraries in Oklahoma through Friends of Libraries.
At the Governor’s Conference on Libraries in 1978, a proclamation called for a state Friends of the Library to be formed. From that Proclamation came the original Board and Membership of Friends of Libraries in Oklahoma (FOLIO).
FOLIO proudly invests in the development of nationally recognized Literary Landmarks.
FOLIO has worked with community leaders to dedicate Literary Landmarks in Oklahoma since 2001.
